Britain's Got Talent 2009 Winner: Diversity,beating favourite Boyle

Street dance group Diversity has been crowned the winner of the 2009 Britain's Got Talent TV show in a shock victory over favourite Susan Boyle.

The 11-strong group, aged 12 to 25, cried in surprise when told of the win.

Member anf Choreographer Ashley Banjo, 20, said winning the contest had "changed our lives".

Little Perry's backflip made a remarkable finale of their performance. This group are the most innovative, creative, magical act I have seen in a very long while.They really are diverse in any way (age, height and etc.). Diversity is made up of three sets of brothers and was only formed in 2007. This is really shocking victory for them because the group was sixth favourite to win going into the final.

Susan Boyle had been the favourite to win the talent show. It had long been predicted that 48-year-old Boyle would run away with the title after gaining worldwide recognition after her audition being watched by millions of people on youtube.

After her performance, Cowell said: "Win or lose you had the guts to come back here and face your critics and you beat them - whatever happens you can walk away from this with your head held high."

Finalists: Aidan Davis, Hollie Steel, 2 Grand, Julian Smith, Shaheen Jafargholi, Stavros Flatley, Flawless, Shaun Smith, Susan and Diversity.

Saxophonist Julian Smith came in third place behind the singer Susan Boyle.

Diversity is the second dance act to win the talent contest after 15-year-old George Sampson won the show last year.

1st ASUS Ultimate Overclocking Show happened at SM City Cebu

1st ASUS Ultimate Overclocking Show with the theme "Push The Limit" was held at Sm Entertainment Plaza.Two teams were competing at the event, the "Cebu Extreme Overclockers" and "Sugbo Elite Overclockers".There competition has several several categories. Sugbo Elite Overclockers won the over-all competition. But, it's just amazing to hear Mr. Condrad Rivero of Cebu Extreme Overclockers saying, "We tried to be the best, we pushed the limit but unfortunately we failed". In every game, there will always be losers and winners but the most important thing is giving the best that they could while taking the risk of failure. That is the right attitude of a true winner. Taking the risk just to get the best result, anyway if you fail then eventually you would learn from it and a bigger chances to win in the future.

Lots of surprises for the audience were provided. ASUS was giving special items to anyone who answered and/or asked questions. Some of us (CBS Members) of course had it. We were not left behind..lol

I've also met my teacher in college, Engr. Aries Rivero which happened to be supporting his younger brother Condrad Rivero Of Cebu Extreme Overclockers.

Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida UFC 98

Lyoto Machida came up into the ring looking calm and confident. Rashad Evans, on the other hand, was crawling on his way up to the ring, trying to grab the attention of thousands of people in MGM grand. Evans felt like agitated even before the game started.

Lyoto Machida was very aggressive, pushing Rashad Evans to step back. Machida dominated the whole fight. Evans could not even throw a punch to Machida because of the distance that Machida is maintaining. Evans' boxing style did not work against Machida. Machida leg kicking the shit out of a circling Evans and hitting/moving when he shoots in, damaging Evans's body. Machida threw a big left punch in the head slowing down Evans and finally knocked him down with a series of punches. Rashad Evans was badly beaten by "The Dragon". It was a devastating loss for the defending champion Rashad Evans.

The simple guy came out victorious. The Brazillian, Lyoto Machida made its way to the top,grabbing the UFC Light Weight Title from Rashad Evans.

Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho Sex Video Scandal

It has been the headline of the news throughout the week. Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho Sex Scandal, Maricar Reyes-Hayden Kho Sex Scandal, Hayden Kho-Brazilian Model Sex Scandal and a new one Ruffa Mae-Hayden Kho Sex Scandals captured the attention of all Filipinos. Even old people still talking about the Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho Sex Scandal. They were alarmed about the current condition of young ones with regards to sex. Some would say "grabeha na sa mga batan-on karon ui mga law-ay na kaayo".

It's already annoying to hear lots of issues related to Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho Scandal and watch them crying in front of the TV's. Honestly, I have watched it already. I've found out that the Katrina Halili was aware that a video was taken while they were having sex and the same with Maricar Reyes, a Brazilian Model and Ruffa Mae. I guess, they enjoyed a lot and Katrina Halili has nothing to complain about the sex video scandal. They both have made mistakes and there's nothing they can do about it because it's already there. Katrina Halili-Hayden Kho Video scandal has already been viewed by thousands of curious people(inluding me..hahaha). All they have to do right now is to admit their mistakes and not just put the blame on other people. They are responsible for their own acts. They just have to face the consequences. For me, Katrina Halili should just keep silent and let time heals the pain she gets from committing "human error". However, Hayden Kho must sue his friend for uploading Katrina Halili, Maricar Reyes, Ruffa Mae Quinto,Brazilian Model sex videos and letting it spread globally through the net.

ASUS Ultimate 2009 Overclocking Show

ASUS is inviting bloggers to attend the "ASUS Ultimate 2009 Overclocking Show " on May 23, 2009 at SM Entertainment Plaza (near Food Court) SM City Cebu. . This is actually an ASUS PC Fair which started last May 14 and would end up on May 24. A series of events will be held and one of it is the competition on Overclocking skills using the top hardware from the different brands. The show will start at 2 pm . After the competition, the bloggers would meet ASUS people and could possibly have the opportunity to ask questions.

According to wikipedia, ASUS is a Taiwanese multinational company which produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, and other computer stuffs. Commonly called by its brand name ASUS (pronounced ah-SOOS ] and commonly mispronounced as AY-sus). Since 2006, 35.0% of PCs sold used an ASUS motherboard and I belong to that 'coz I am an ASUS(motherboard)user.

By the way, to have a better idea about Overclocking show, it involves speeding up computer beyond the manufacturer's specifications in order to run faster. Common in the gaming world, overclocking the CPU is accomplished by changing the clock ratio, which is also called as CPU Multiplier, of the frontside bus (FSB) in the BIOS setup. Older methods were changing a jumper on the motherboard or changing the clock crystal. Ms. Negros Occidental is the reigning Ms. Philippines- Earth 2009.

The true Filipina Beauty definitely lies within Visayas region. It has been proven once again that Visayan Beauties are paramount in the annual beauty pageant for a cause, Ms. Philippines-Earth. After the Cebu's pride Ms. Karla Paula Henry who won the Ms. Philippines-Earth 2008 and became the Ms. Earth 2008 here comes another one from the Visayas, Ms. Sandra Seifert, a 25 year-old, Registered Nurse from Negros Occidental grabbed the crown for Ms. Philippines- Earth 2009 during the Grand Coronation Night at The Arena in San Juan City.

Suspected Cases of A H1N1 Virus found in Cebu

Cebu, Philippines- I was stunned when I heard the news that a suspected case of swine flu pandemic hit Cebu. Despite intensified preventive actions on the swine flu pandemic by the national and local governments in order to avoid swine flu from striking the Philippines, a couple coming from Hongkong allegedly to have been contaminated with A H1N1 Virus. An OFW from Hongkong arrived in Mactan International Airport was detected by thermal scanner to have high body temperature. The quarantine officials were alarmed and immediately sent the man with his wife to Vicente Sotto Hospital to undergo quarantine procedures.

Also, a British woman who had already been staying in Cebu for week voluntarily surrendered herself to undergo tests after suspecting that she acquired the virus.

This is the first case of swine flu in the Philippines. I was already worried about the possible outcomes if this is really true. I am already planning to buy a surgical mask tomorrow as a protection if this outbreak will be confirmed. This is also to avoid from running out of mask because i know for sure that people would go panic-buying. It is always true: Prevention is better than cure, and what's worst is that there is still no cure for this disease.

We will just hope and pray that "It was just a false alarm". The Filipino public now should be more proactive and should do their own precautionary measures from getting infected with the deadly virus.

Pacquiao wins via TKO in the 2nd Round ( Live Video Streaming)

After many months of waiting Manny Pacquiao ended up the fight only in just 2 rounds.

Manny Pacquiao was dominating. Pacquiao has proven again that he is really the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world. Hatton was knocked down twice in the first round and a powerful left hand to the head late in the second round turned down Hatton to the canvas.
Referee Kenny Bayless took one look at Hatton and declared the fight over at 2:59 of the round.
"I didn't have to count," Bayless said.
