Forecasts on Hatton-Pacquiao Fight from Famous Boxing Icons

Hatton and Pacquiao are all set to figure in a big showdown on May 2.

After drubbing Paulie Malignaggi , British sensation Ricky Hatton cleared the way for a super fight with Filipino pound-for-pound Manny Pacquiao, a bout that Hatton’s trainer and retired heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis were endorsing.

Hatton-Pacquiao would be a good match up for two explosive power punchers with similar buzz saw styles of fighting. Famous boxing icons made their forecasts on Hatton-Pacquiao Fight.

"Hatton got the perfect style to be knocked-out by Pacquiao",Diaz said in a Press Conference held in Parklane, Hotel when he visited Cebu together with the world champ Edwin Valero.

The last man to beat Pacquiao is putting his bet to Hatton. “I can bet you that he wins,”Morales said, who fought three classic fights against Pacquiao in 2005 and 2006.

"Hatton has a good punch and he’s fast,”he added.

Another former champion, welterweight Carlos Palomino, now 59, has issued an early forecast, and like Morales is betting on Hatton.
“At 140 pounds, I think Hatton is too strong for Manny. He’d put too much pressure on Manny,” said Palomino.
