SM City Cebu- The Miss Cebu 2009 candidates were already introduced to the public. The CebuCity Tourism Commission put up an online voting station at SM City Cebu just near Tribal Boutique (where I had received a 2009 calendar as I went into window shopping) where people who passed by are encouraged to cast their votes for their favorite Miss Cebu 2009 candidate.
Together with my friend Vernon, we casted our votes to our own bet. I voted for my schoolmate Miss Sheda Lyn Dusaban of Cebu Institute of Tecchnology (CIT) and Vernon voted for his schoolmate in high school Miss Kris Tiffany Janson who is a representative for Universty of San Carlos.
There are 12 candidates for Miss Cebu 2009 which came from different Colleges and Universities in Cebu. There is a representative for University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR), Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT), University of San Carlos, Cebu Doctor's University (CDU), University of Cebu-Banilad (UC-Banilad), Center for International Education (CIE) and University of the Philippines. More candidates of Miss Cebu 2009 are coming from University of San Carlos.
